Richter

My grandfather, Otto Richter was the butcher to Fort El Reno in the 1890's.  He was supposed to be friends with Bill Cody and named his oldest son Cody.  Cody died and later grandpa and family moved to Laramie, Wyoming.
 
I have been trying to find out more about the fort and life there.  Also I am trying to find out when Cody died and if he is buried there.
 
So far I haven't been able to find info about Fort El Reno or pictures of it at all.
 
I would like to find photos of the fort in 1895 when my father was born there and any info relating to those times.
