Robertson
I'm looking for information on missing gr and grandfathers.
My parents were both born in Oklahoma and they can't find anything out about them. I received a school transcript from Moss school outside Holdenville.
My father listed Durant, Bokchito as birth place his name was Holman L.D. Robertson Oct. 14, 1913.
His father which is also a missing relative Charles (maybe Marion or Marian) Robertson. I don't know what happened to Charles or where his family was from.
His mother was Lona Ethel Gamble which she was born in Ark. She is buried in Holdenville cemetery with James Gayle her last husband. She was also married to a Everret Hanks before him until his death.
My mom was Grace Inez Stewart Nov. 23, 1913 born in Ada, or where abouts. I know about the Stewart family a little. But her mom Myrtle Lee Stiles had Texana Ridley Ward as mom born in Texas and my missing grgrandfather Aaron Benton Stiles also born in Texas. She is buried in McMahon Cemetery
in Hughes Co. but no man.
Lona, L.D. Everret, and James Gayle are all buried in Holdenville Cemetery
in Hughes Co. I don't know what happened to Lona's father or mother either. Louis and Mattie Elizabeth Taylor Gamble. I think they may of been from Ark.
If you know anyone who could help I would appreciate it. My father died in Pittsburg Co. McAlester, in 1984. His name was listed as Holman Eldee, Holman L.D. or just L.D. Robertson.
He married my mom under L.D. Robertson of Holdenville.
