Lula A. Alexander, 91, of Tecumseh, died Saturday
morning in a house fire.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. Monday in
Box Cemetery, west of Wanette with Rev. Robert
Rider, pastor of Assembly of God Church, officiating.
She was born Nov. 7, 1877 in Texas and moved to
Oklahoma in 1887 living in Marietta and Ardmore areas
until 1902 when she moved to Pottawatomie County.
She moved to Tecumseh in 1949 residing there until the
time of her death. She was a member of the Free Will
Baptist Church.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Hattie Brown, Tecumseh,
and several nieces and nephews.
